Pricesmart cakes

Hola everybody, I hope y'all had a fantastic week! It's just been another week here in Jamaica honestly, nothing too crazy besides the usual rastas walking into church, random people walking around preaching repentance, tweaker, walking around cities at night, etc. All in the days work though. And I love every second of it!!

This past week Elder Hafen and I have been on the grind. We've been getting a lot of lessons in every day trying to find the people that are ready to here and accept our message right now. We met a person a while ago, but we never got a lesson set up with her until this week. Anyways she's super smart and understands how a church shouldn't be ran. She doesn't like how they call people up and put money onto a platter and stuff like that, so she was more than delighted to hear how we do it!!

I went on an exchange to Linstead this week! It's a super pretty area with a ton of jungle. It's in the mountains and the drive up is probably the prettiest thing I've seen in Jamaica so far. It also rains a ton and I got soaked to say the least. Good times though, I'd definitely do it again.

It was Elder Hafens Birthdsy yesterday. We celebrated good with a red velvet cake from Pricesmart, and a game of good 'ol fashioned monopoly. It was a good night, and the spirit of contention definitely wasn't as high as it usually is when we play games lol.

Highlights:
• exchange with linstead
• getting a new comp
• grinding
• haircuts from Elder Marisilino
• Elder Hafens Bday
• zone conference

Spiritual thought:
This last week we had zone conference as yall just read and it was pretty good not going to lie. The theme was about coming unto Christ and following him. I learned a lot about how the BEST missionaries are the ones that are willing to put EVERYTHING on the line. I'm definitely going to apply what I learned to try to become the best missionary I can be.
