Wah gwan mi generals. I hope you guys are doing well. It's been such a good week. I'm honestly doing great. It's hard to be out here in Jamaica and work every single day, but there's honestly no where I'd rather be than here serving the Lord.
Ms.
Dixon got baptized yesterday!! She's such an example of faith to me. We
went over and had a discussion with her and her husband on Friday. She
was telling us about how her daughter was trying to talk her out of
being baptized because Ms. Dixon doesn't know the doctrine as well as
her daughter thinks she should. Ms Dixon told us that she told her
daughter that it doesn't matter and that she will learn as she goes
through her life and continues to read the scriptures. I strive to have
that kind of mindset, instead of trying to get all the knowledge I can
now. After she was baptized, she was just the brightest ray of sunshine.
When she walked back into the room after getting changed the spirit
walked into the room with her. I know our Father in Heaven is proud of
her, even more than I am. She even came early to her baptism to watch
conference and stayed afterwards to watch the afternoon session. She
also went to both sessions on Sunday.
We
have a couple more friends that we are teaching that are trying and
yearning to learn more. The hard part is trying to meet with them.
Jamaicans work so hard each and every day to provide for their families
that they barely have time for themselves, let alone to meet with a
couple of whities. I hope we can meet them more and help them grow
closer to our Lord and Savior.

Spiritual thought:
General
conference was so fire. I'm pretty sure they was my first one that I
stayed awake for all 4 sessions. I think the more than necessary amount
of energy drinks definitely helped me. My favorite talk was Elder
Soares on the Sunday Morning, I think. He talked about all the
Christlike attributes and how they help us become happier and more like
our Savior. Email or text me your favorite talk from conference and
why:)
