Transfer week

Hey yall hope had an absolutely fantastic week. This week was pretty bland and fast not going to lie. We had transfers this week so since we have the truck we got the pleasure of driving everybody around for various meetings and going to their new areas. That took up literally 2/3rds of almost every single day this week. I did get to meet some of the new missionaries that just got their visas. There are some dope people here, and I can't wait to be comps with them. I also got to go to my first MLC. That was an interesting experience, not exactly what I imagined it being that's for sure.

Needless to say we couldn't do nearly as much proselyting as we wanted to. We did have like one fire lesson over the phone. Our friend was so excited to talk to us because she had read everything we told her to. She didn't come to church yesterday so that kind of bummed me out but we have hope for the future!

We got to watch a horse race today. People love to place bets on them and talk about them. We had some solid conversations with some people that are just excited to talk about horse races.

That's about it folks. I'm sorry nothing really happened.

Spiritual thought:
President told the mission to read 3rd Nephi before zone conference coming up. Lucky for me, that's exactly where I was in my regular Book of Mormon reading. The 1st chapter or so talks a lot about the signs of when Christ is born and the faith of the people at the time. Faith makes or breaks times like these. If you don't have sufficient faith, you'll realize your mistakes pretty early on and regret not repenting earlier. I urge you all to not procrastinate your repentance! We are in the latter days! Do it now!!
