Hello everyone, I hope you're having a fantastic day and that everything is going well, and that you're life is full of sunshine and rainbows. If your life is full of sunshine and rainbows, shoot me an email, I'd love to hear about it.
This week hasn't been entirely eventful, I'll give y'all the highlights as usual.
-
We've been having some really good lessons with the Mcgilve family,
which consists of Steve, Sharene, Beyonce, Abby, Poppy, and another
little girl that I do not remember her name for the life of me and now I
feel really bad. Anyways they're loving the Book of Mormon and are
wanting to go to church, just not this upcoming week because of General
Conference;)
- Savd the Elders in Yallahs from showering in their spit
- Saved Bro. Graham from starving to death
-
Had an exchange with the AP's. I went with Elder Gillings. He's
Jamaican and the area that I'm currently assigned to is where he's from
-
Got pulled over for the 2nd time in my life. This time was dumb. I was
on the exchange I mentioned previously and Elder Gillings was giving me
directions and he said to turn right because thats what the maps told
him, so trusting Google maps, I turned right. Right as I turned right, a
cop comes and pulls me over and says I can't turn right. What the
fetch. I proceed to give him my drivers license and explain to him what
I'm doing out here in Jamaica and he just shakes his head at me and says
"man you guys are supposed to be good people". I'm just trying to
preach repentance, baptize converts, and follow Google maps. Is that too
much to ask? Anyways, at least I didn't get a ticket. There were also
people doing the exact same thing before and after me so I was kinda
peeved about that too
-
the rest of the week consisted of doing literally absolutely nothing.
Something about the exchange with the AP's destroyed me and we stayed at
home basically all day from Thursday afternoon to today. Not a fun way
to end a week.
P.S. For any of y'all that actually read my emails, I mentioned towards the
end of this week's edition that I stayed home because I got destroyed
from an exchange. I meant to say that I got sick and wasn't feeling
super great at all, but I apparently forgot to say that as well as I
wanted to. Shout out to Tracy for saving me
