Burnt home

Wah gwan. Hope everyone is doing well. I'd say we had a good week, but that's up to yalls interpretation.

Highlights:

-Bro Grahams house burned down (it's a pretty good story. If yall really care to hear it, email me;))

-went on an exchange with Elder Gamiette. He's from Guadalupe, which is the same place that my last comp is from. He's lretty dope and we had some good convos for sure

-Nobody pulled up to church for the first 20 min. We were about to do the Sacrament for us and just leave before one of the members showed up. We ended up doing a little service and reading a little bit of "Come, follow me" with him. This week's was fire!

- had another baptismal interview, Zende's the goat!

- skip-bo at the yallahs palace goes hard. Yall don't even understand

- either early this week, or late last week,  we were at an appointment and leaving to go home. It was dark outside and we were in the bush a little so I was trying to get out decently fast so I didn't get shot or something. This guy comes up to us and asks us for a book. I hand him a Book of Mormon to get him off of me and just keep on walking. Then this week we came back to visit this same friend, and he was hanging out with the guy I gave the BoM to. He was like "yah mon, I love the Book of Mormon"  apparently he had read the introduction and enjoyed it. So we sat them both down and explained a little bit of the restoration. Kind of a fire little miracle that you don't necessarily think about in the moment

- we had a drivers meeting. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be

- we have our friend named Winnifred that I found a week or so ago on exchanges. We taught her like 3 times this last week and they were all fire lessons. I've really liked slowing down all of our teaching appointments a ton and making sure they completely understand everything we teach. We taught her about the Restoration in like 3 different lessons and she understands and knows everything. She seems to be a likkle scared about leaving her church that she's been in for 30 years or so. She's going to be on Kjngston for a little bit to babysit for her son for a little bit. So we'll find out later today how long that's going to be for.

- went golfing today. I'm not nearly as bad as I was at top golf before the mish (shout out tan tan for not helping me at all)

Spiritual Thought:
This week I've been teaching a lot of lessons about the restoration and it really is remarkable. There's no way that this church is false or anything like that. Reading all the scriptures that we use in lessons, and even in my own studies, just makes too much sense in my head. This is Christ's church that has been restored in these latter days, with Christ at the head of the Church. He is our Savior and Redeemer. Joseph Smith did restore this Church almost 200 years ago. Russell M. Nelson is a living prophet on this Earth TODAY to lead and guide us, just as prophets of old did.

Love yall likkle more,
Elder Turnbow
