Wah apm everyone. This week was pretty good. I'm absolutely loving my new area. It's probably the most populated area in my mission so we're grinding everything out. Our key indicators(New people found, members participating in lessons, non members at sacrament meeting, etc) are probably at an all time high for my mission. It's a blast and it's so nice being able to walk out the house and now that my efforts will actually put forth fruits because I can physically see them. Now for the highlights though:
- New apartment. It used to be a sisters apartment so it's nice! We also have a 6 man in our apartment because other Elders are waiting for theirs to open. Its chaos for sure!
-pricesmart. I love being able to feel like I'm at home again
-being able to fully grind and talk to literally tons of new people everyday
- our friend Latisha. She's had some issues before I got here, but she's working hard to overcome them so that she can get baptized. We put her on date for December 30th, but we're hoping it can be sooner. Keep her on your prayers for sure!
-our friend Annjay. He's a guy around my age and he talks about he wants to turn his life around. He's nervous about leaving thr things of the world behind him. I'd love it if yall could pray for him too.
- we got a giant cheesecake for my birthday yesterday. Not as good as Tracy's, but good enough.
-having a full ward pull up to church. So nice not having to set up church, bless the sacrament, speak for 20 minutes in sacrament meeting, teach Sunday school, and everything in between. It was fun while it lasted, but the break from it is very much needed.
-we had my first MLC has a zone leader. We talked a lot about pushing for our key indicator goals so that we can push for more baptisms here in the JKM.
