For all of the people that only read the email if it has an interesting title, you can skip down to the first highlight and then carry on with your day. Love you, and thanks for trying to put in effort to me:) anyways, I hope the rest of yall are doing pretty good and that your week has been just absolutely stellar. I'll get into the highlights and let yall get on your merry way
Highlights:
- Elder Gordon and I were walking down a plaza in a busy area. Some old lady with a pretty good beard that rested just under her jaw and towards her neck just walked by us, stopped, looked at us, and just proceeded to just drop some bars on us. Probably the best freestyle rap I've heard here, next to Elder Johnson of course. Apparently this isn't an uncommon thing here. The other Elders that live here with us apparently had the same lady do the same thing to them in the same day. Only in Jamaica.
- last pday was district pday. We balled up with our massive district. President and Mommy showed up too and tried to ball up. Then we went over to the mission home and get fed some fire food. Having foreign mission leaders is lowkey a clutch move
- 2 more Elders moved in this week. Currently living in a 6 man. It's hype. Especially when one of them Is a certified service missionary with the tag and everything. He can just look stuff up for us when we have questions and it's lit. #obedientmissionary
- totally winged my first stake coordination meeting. Neither me or my comp knew what we were doing, but it somehow worked.
-went on a exchange with Elder Yates. I served around him a couple months ago, but it was dope to finally go on an exchange with him and learn more about him.
- Had a couple lessons with our friend Latisha. She's one of those one in a million people that are just so converted to the gospel. She's got some things that are holding her back from being baptized, but I'm not worried. It's not an "if" she gets baptized anymore, it's "when". Hopefully soon come

- we've been working with Bro Lewin a lot recently too. He got baptized around 2 or so years ago and he's a dawg. Probably my favorite member here so far. He knows that the Lord has high expectations for him, just needs a little push to accomplish them
- We visited a couple in the ward that are getting married in April. They're gonna be crazy powerful together. We also lowkey had a missionary coordination with the guy. I love members that are missionary minded. We also got invited over for dinner on boxing day by them and I'm kinda very excited. Kingston is the promised land for Christmas
-We've got zone conference this next upcoming week. We've been planning a ton of things for it, including a Christmas party that we're hoping will be good. Definitely keep us in your prayers for that one
Spiritual thought:
This week, I've been studying a lot about the Holy Ghost, and wow. It truly is the most important thing to have access to 24/7 in these coming days. It can literally guide you in every single scenario that you come across on a daily basis, and it's whole job is to testify of Christ and to help you follow the commandments. How dope is that?! We're so blessed to be able to have it!!
Love yall. Big up yuhselfs. Likkle more. respect. merry Christmas.
Elder Turnbow
