I know it's late, but I sent my email before all the Christmas thing we did that day happened. Dont even worry I'll catch yall up in the highlights section. However, we get transfer news this week already and its crazy to me. I've absolutely loved this last transfer. I feel like ive grown more during this one than all the others. I've learned how to love more, rely on the spirit more, become a better teacher, and a better leader as well. I hope I get to stay in this area another transfer, but we'll see what the Lord has in store for me
Highlights:
-last Christmas we went over to the McPherson home (member family). Supposedly every year for the last like 30 or so years they've had all the missionaries in Kingston (which consists of like 15 of us currently) and the mission president and all the senior missionaries that live in Kingston as well. We had a lot of good food and it was lit. They made all the areas sing and I'm glad to say that us singing "O come o come emmanuel" over Lauren Daigle was not the worst performance that happened
- We had a lot good lessons this last week. We've got about 5 people on date right now. We've had a lot good work and lessons happen so we're hoping that all of then will go through. We also have some more that will hopefully be getting a date soon.
- we got absolutely drenched on Wednesday. The rains came down and the floods came up. Our white shirts were definitely "see through" by the the time we got home. It was kinda lit though
- we've been playing a lot of board games at night with the 6 man. Coup and skip-bo go hard
- for New Years we bought 2 dozen donuts, a box of brownie mix, and 2 gallons of ice cream. I feel horrid, but it was fun.
Spiritual thought:
I've learned a lot about Charity this last week. Christ's love is crazy. If you have it to it's full potential, nothing is getting in the way of you doing anything for anybody. Which is why he was able to perform the Atonement, the ultimate sacrifice and sign of love anyone can ever perform.
