So I'm running out of patwa words to start off my email after doing like 52 of these over the last year, so yall are just gonna have to bear with me today. The week was pretty good though, definitely hectic for sure though! Well get right into it.
Highlights:
- went to Mandeville again this week for an exchange with the goat Elder Patterson. It was really good, and definitely motivated me and him to work as hard as we could, as efficiently as we could. We had a lot of really good convos about the work as well. Dont even worry though, I got my monsters. #eldertannerismad
- MLC in Kingston. This one wasn't anything too crazy at all. Just a couple of likkle things here and there. Borderline not a highlight, but I got to make these emails longer than 2 paragraphs somehow.
- Family home evening with a couple of families/members in the branch. It was really good, and it definitely motivated them to do missionary work, which was the goal. # MayPenIsTheBestUnitOnTheIsland
- One of the days, we had our Elders Quorum President come out and proselyte all day long with us. President Miller is the goat and knows how to bring the spirit. He's also a recent convert of less than 2 years and I'm thoroughly impressed by how converted he is, and how well he knows how to fulfill his calling. That stuff is rare out here.
- We went over to an inactive members house that we've been working with and we had a crazy good discussion. Before we even said an opening prayer, he just started going at it about how he wants to do better and start coming back to church and get the Melchizedek Priesthood and literally everything. He also has an unbaptized son, that isn't going to be unbaptized for very much longer... we're trying to get him the dad to he ready so he can baptize his son when the time comes #familiescanbetogetherforever
- We had to push Crystal and Henry's baptismal date back a week so that Crystal would be able to come to church one more time before she's baptized. She had to go to Kingston for work this last weekend, so that kinda sucked, but they'll be ready soon!!
- We went and visited a member that lives way out in the bush. We had 2 miracles come up from it though. 1) the original taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong spot, but the persons house that he dropped us off offered to give us a ride to the correct house. The 2nd miracle was that the taxi man that drove us back home charged like a 3rd of the cost with half the confusion as well. While we were at the actual members house, the father was there and he's an Ex-LDS member turned 7th day Adventist. Yall already know how the visit turned out. I tried my hardest to derail the situation, and move on. In the process, I almost said some very unchristlike things to do it, but the spirit constraineth my tongue, so nothing crazy came out. Were going back over tomorrow to get an actual good lesson in. Fingers crossed the same thing doesn't happen again.
- church was lit. All of us in the branch had a pretty good amount of people pull up to church. I love being in an area where you can actually get people to church. My previous areas were so far in the bush that nobody was even going to try. We also had a very good service as well.
Lowlight:
- I'm starting to get a likkle sick. Pray for me please

Spiritual thought:
God loves you and all of His children. He will provide a way back for you as you put your trust in Him, and allow Him to perfect you. Mosiah 3:19
