Zone Conference Week

Wah gwan everybody. Welcome back. Let's get into the highlights

- the PMF (part member family) I talked about last week has been going good. We've started to meet with his girlfriend/almost fiance as well. We have high hopes for all of them to get baptized/ active again soon!! We're preparing the dad to baptize his son so it'll be extra special

- One of the members' wife went back to England, where she lives. So we had to go back and visit them before she left. This time we were able to have a good visit with then without having to bash the father about what day the sabbath is. Random quick rant, but I cannot fathom why people have such strong beliefs that the sabbath HAS to be on Saturday, even though it literally says in Acts 20:7 they broke bread (blessed and partook of the sacrament) on the 1st day of the week, or in other words, SUNDAY. Aggfhhh. Anyways

- Zone conference! This transfer Elder Wilson decided that our zone needed to learn more about the key indicators of conversion. Specifically on why we have them, and how they show growth. Missionaries are going out and putting in good effort every single day, just not effective effort that brings forth fruit every single day. Hopefully this will be able to improve the quality of the work that gets done here in the Mandeville Zone!

- I went to Montego Bay, one of my old areas, on an exchange with one of our DLs this week. Elder Abogadie used to be the AP last transfer and he's been putting crazy work into his area since he got here. Honestly one of my favorite days of my mission so far. He has some sort of crazy energy that just motives everyone to go out and go ham. We went out and grinding from 9:30am-10:30 pm with little breaks in between and I'd go and do it again with him without even thinking twice.

- all of our teaching pool literally can't meet more than once a week, so while we have a good amount of friends that come to church consistently and stuff like that, we don't have enough appointments set up to fill up our schedule the way that we want to so we ended up doing wayy too much street contacting. We're hoping to meet more people that can meet consistently. Keep us on your prayers!

- our friend Crystal had her baptismal interview so she could get baptized next week. She passed the interview and knows that everything is true, but is struggling with knowing if she's absolutely ready for baptism and that it entails. We're workingg with her to find a new date that will be best for her

Spiritual thought:
I've been loving doing come, follow me. It's truly reminded me of how great and true the Book of Mormon is and how everyone deserves to know of it and the truthfulness there of
