Wah gwan. Very good week. Lots of meetings.
Highlights:
- a rasta taxi driver claimed that Jamaica is Heaven on Earth. Not very likely, but definitely a good theory
- MLC was good. We talked a lot about checking the progress that we've had and knowing how to move it forward.
- We had a couple of good lessons with our friends and members. We taught our friend Damane the Law of Chastity with his member girlfriend and we brought it across straightforward and fun to avoid all the awkwardness. It goes as forward. SPAM. No sex before marriage, no pornography, no adultery, and no masturbation. Lowkey made it fun and easy and we were just chuckling the whole time.
- made another whole leap of phone calls
- went to Spanish Town twice. Once for a baptismal interview for a dope guy. He's about 19 or so years old. He's gonna be a phenomenal leader in the church. The 2nd time was for a zone conference we had with Elder Cordón of the 70. I learned a lot about how to improve my teaching. He didn't really do a whole lot of just preaching, but asked if we had questions we wanted answers to. So it was basically all strictly to our need more or less. There's a lot I'm going to be applying
- We are now in Kingston on our p-day. We have MLC tomorrow again with Elder Cordón, so we're staying in a hotel with almost all the other ZLs. It's legit.
