Silento

This week was just like any other. My patience is definitely being pushed by the people around me. I'm trying to figure out how to help people that don't want to be helped, or don't see anything wrong with the way they do things. If anybody has tips they would be appreciated in a response (include how your live's have been in said response as wel). Besides that, we'll get right into the highlights

Highlights:
- Went on an exchange with Elder Marisilino. We've been in the same district for like 7 transfers now, with one of us being in a DL companionship and had never been on an exchange until now. It was definitely long awaited and it was hyped. I learned a lot about how being genuinely genuine really does make a difference in how lessons are taught, and how present the spirit is.

-  It's rained a lot in the last week or so. A chunk of our days have had a lot of lessons cancel because the rain is like lowkey deadly here and every single Jamaican I've met just get sick for being in the rain for lie 15 minutes.

- We had a crazy referral from a member that lives in the perish of Portland. We went over twice this last week. Before the first lesson was over, she asked "So how many of these discussions are we going to have, and how long will it take for me to get baptized?" I've never heard those words in that order before. Hopefully big things coming soon. Only problem is that she lives with a baby fada and aren't married...

- Stanky legs have been going crazy. I've been carrying a nose plug around with me everywhere I go

Spiritual thought:
This last week, Elder Gajadhar tried a new way of lesson planning that required a lot more work than the way I've done it in the past. Everything was written out so we knew exactly what was going to happen and when it was going to happen. I would say that it's definitely boosted our teaching and the spirit has been able to be with us more. The Lord loves us putting in all the effort that we can to do His will. On His end, our efforts will be magnified so we can do His will. I'd encourage yall to think of ways that you can show the Lord more effort this week. I promise that you'll see the magnification of His spirit in your life as you do so.

kudos,
Elder Turnbow
