Hello everybody! I hope that everyone is doing well, per usual. This week was pretty crazy since we had 3 zone conferences to set everything up for in different spots of the island. Transfers are also happening this upcoming week, so we had a lot to do in preparation for that, such as making travel logistics for 12 hours:(. All in all solid week
Highlights:
- Elder Yates and I gave a training on personal conversion in 2 of the 3 conferences. we spent too much time planning it and were running off of 3 hours of sleep to make sure it was everything we wanted it to be
- I got to see a lot of my mission friends since we saw everyone in the mission this week
- We got a super elect referral from a member in the ward next to ours. The guy understands everything super well and could easily be a Branch President or Bishop in the foreseeable future.
- Easily had the best church service of my mission this last sunday. Usually about 65 or so people show up. Last week we had 100 people there, and between the 3 companionships we have in the branch, we were able to have 25 friends there. It's crazy that 1 out of every 4 people I saw there wasn't baptized. This branch has a lot of potential to become a ward soon. Our new branch president has some juice.
Spiritual thought:
With the results that we were able to have at church, especially with having very little time to work in my area, I've been thinking a lot about how I literally did nothing to see those results. It was all the Lord's hand in everything that happened. This gospel is true, and this is Christ's true church on the Earth today.
