Mmhmm

Honestly, this week started off mildly hectic and increased in hectivity as the week went on. We had 2 more exchanges we needed to do this transfer, and only 1 week left of it. Ya already know that we got it done.

Highlights:
- Exchange with one of my old comps, Elder Gajadhar. He's still one of a kind, but I love him to death. We had a good day.

- Another good exchange with Elder Narsimulu. I served around him in the very beginning of my mission, about 20 months ago, and never really served around him since. He goes home tomorrow so it was nice to reminisce about the old days and learn from one another.

- Got transfer board and travel logistics finalized

- One of our friends, Davia, got her baptismal interview done yesterday. My comp and I had an interesting conversation about her yesterday. She's the daughter of one of the Recent Converts in the branch. We were visiting her mom and were on the look out for other people in the house to teach. We saw her, and decided based on stereotype that she wouldn't progress. We decided to talk with her anyways and a month later, she'll be getting baptized. The Lord prepares people, whether we think they'll progress or not. I'm so glad that we decided to talk to her because I love seeing the joy she's felt from it.

Spiritual thought:
I wanna compare Davia, the friend mentioned above, and compare her to 2 of our other friends, Natasha and Akeem, that we started teaching about the same time. All 3 of them started reading the Book of Mormon consistently at the same time. As they did that, you could see and feel the joy and the spirit that would come from them when you'd talk to them about it. I enjoyed teaching them so much. However, as time progressed, Natasha and Akeem stopped reading the Book of Mormon because life got busy (as it does). The second that happened, the spirit and joy that come from them diminished. The Book of Mormon has real power to change lives. The amount of joy that I've felt from reading the Book of Mormon surpasses any other wordly pleasure 10 fold. The Book of Mormon has made me who I am today, and I'm forever grateful for the time that I've dedicated to reading it.

Manners,
Elder Turnbow
